Sunset over the lake, a long bike ride through the woods, and windflowers everywhere. There’s nothing like summer in the north country, especially on the mountain. The only thing that could make it better is a little live music. And if the guy had a name like Boyd ‘Bump’ Blomberg? Well, that would be the cherry on top.
If you’re here on August 27, you’re in luck. Outdoors on the patio of Moguls (or inside if it rains), the local singer and songwriter is bringing his blend of rock, folk and bluegrass, which has been heard from coast to coast and is now an area staple. The show goes from 6 to 8pm and there’s no cover.
Hungry? Snack on locally influenced treats like Pan-roasted Walleye Cakes, Apple Walnut Salad, or Cedar-Plank Salmon or grab a local or seasonal microbrew. If that isn’t summer, we don’t know what is.
