Fitgers Brewhouse is located in Duluth, Mn on the shore of Lake Superior in the historic Fitgers Brewery Complex. Fitgers Brewing company was founded in 1884. After prohibition, in the 1940’s production reached 125,000 bbls. Fitgers Brewery closed it’s doors in 1972. It is our honor to continue brewing in a building so rich in brewing history. In 2007 our brewery celebrated it’s 2200 batch of beer and it’s 8th expansion. Our 10 bbl Brewhouse fills 30 lines of beer in Duluth at Fitgers Brewhouse, The Red Star Lounge, and Burrito Union.
Our philosophy as brewers is to try and create a broad spectrum of craft brewed ales and lagers highlighting the variety and scope of micro brewed beer. The beer hunter will always find a lager, a wheat beer, a Belgian style ale, multiple North Shore style Pales and IPA’s and of course Stouts, Porters, and Fruit beers pouring. The Brewhouse offers a full menu, full bar, generous happy hours, outdoor dining, cask ale and live music 5 days per week. Growlers available Mon-Sat in glass or the Boundary Waters friendly Nalgene Adventure Growler. Come visit The Brewhouse retail store and Tasting Room.
