Latest Ski Report

Good morning skiers and boarders, this is Craig with Caribou’s ski report for the week of January 19-25, 2020.

We have a beautiful weekend ahead of us after 17+ inches of fresh snow and high temperatures expected to be in the upper 30’s. Expect memories to be made this weekend!

Lutsen Mountains now has a healthy base on both the primary and sidecountry runs due to this last dumping of snow. You can even get some of the leftover powder on the sidecountry runs if you hurry up here before the weekend. If you have some “sick time” banked up, this may be the time to use it and take advantage of this fantastic weather this week. You’ll even get your 3rd night free if you stay with us at Caribou Highlands. The 3 for 2 Speical ends at the end of January so don’t delay!

Best Run Right Now

Bobcat; it’s a double black below Line of Bull on Moose Mountain that I found by accident. It’s a steep, narrow, and sharp turning tree run with an exciting finish!

As I said, it’s going to be an awesome weekend to hit the slopes, so get some of that leftover powder, and I hope to see you out on the mountain this weekend.

Don’t forget to join us at Moguls Grille (Ski-In Access) for Ski Apres or Jazz Brunch on Sunday morning.

Hi, I’m Craig!

It is my job to ski as many runs as possible and be the guy who can tell you everything about every run on the mountains. I’m here to help you plan your trip and get the most out of your skiing experience!

I’ll be wearing black snow pants, a green coat, a black helmet, and orange/white Volkl skis. Say hi if you see me, I would love to share a chairlift and to hit a few runs with anybody that wants to!
