Timmy Haus ~ Local Legend

Moguls Grille & Taproom

Timmy Haus – March 1
He blends his own style of acoustic eclectic, “He sounds more like a band than a one-man show!” His voice is recognizable all the way down the North Shore. From covers of Snoop Dogg’s “Gin and Juice” to Beck’s “Loser,” Timmy Haussner, also known as Timmy Haus, is an entertainer in every sense of the word.

Erick Frost – March 8
Eric brings an appreciation for rock ‘n roll’s roots, covering music from the old-time, bluegrass & folk traditions to popular tunes of the past & present.

Gordon Throne – March 15
Gordon Thorne picked up a guitar 30 years ago and hasn’t put it down since. He spent years mining early American blues and jazz, blending them with his own style, and serves up what he calls, “the modern sounds of yesterday – today”. Known as the meanest fingerpicker in Northern Minnesota it is where he spends his time working, raising kids and playing a little guitar.

Billy Johnson – March 22
While he’s been moonlighting with George Scott McKelvey in the B-Team, former Hillcats singer Billy Johnson confirms he belongs on the A list alongside G.B. Leighton as one of the Twin Cities’ best feel-good, blue-collar barroom-rousing tunesmiths with his first solo album, tellingly titled “It’s a Good Life.”

Eric Frost – March 29

JohnRuss – March 7 & 14
He does not play easy-listening music, but it is easy to listen to because it is quiet and thoughtful. Russ writes beautiful, melodic guitar pieces and John plays simple, solid bass.  When John switches to guitar and sings the music is bluesy, groovy and soulful.

Joe Paulik – March 14
His songwriting style and impressive vocal range have been compared to Gordon Lightfoot’s and his lyrics to Neil Young, with a repertoire that encompasses The Beatles to Bob Dylan, including an ever-growing collection of original work.

Timmy Haus – March 21

TBD – March 28

Live Music & Brunch Every Sunday
Enjoy a Jazzy brunch with Briand Morrison

Briand’s jazz guitar playing will remind you of the great Wes Montgomery -smooth, warm, innovative – appealing to both jazz aficionados and anyone who loves good guitar.

Papa Charles- See the line-up

Big Wu at Papa Charlies

Big Wu – March 2
The Big Wu is a rock jam band from Minnesota. A jam band with a unique style and presence, the Wu combine strong, free-flowing improv and vocal harmonies, with finely crafted songs for all tastes. Oh, and their fans are famously friendly.

The 4ontheFloor – March 16
The furious delivery ebbs and flows with sing-a-long anthems and breakdowns to soaring guitar solos and unbridled full-bore rock. Camaraderie is a common theme, and stompers are finding like-minded rockin’ rollers at every show.

Dessa with Monakr – March 23
Singer, rapper, and writer Dessa has made a career of bucking genres and defying expectations – her resume as a musician includes performances at Lollapalooza and Glastonbury, co-compositions for 100-voice choir, performances with the Minnesota Orchestra, and a top-200 entry on the Billboard charts.
